There are two kinds of people in America: those that want to be a vampire or a werewolf, and the rest are zombies. I could be wrong about that, so don’t start growling at me. My doctor said that I need to eat more brains anyway.

Vampires were popular for a while. There was a movie about a teenage girl that fell in love with a vampire and also a werewolf. It was popular so naturally, everybody wanted to be a vampire or a werewolf (or a teenage girl).

In a way, people in America act like vampires. They go to sleep when people in Taiwan are just getting up. That is how a creature of the night that feeds on the blood of people acts. I was born there. I spent so many years with them and I never realized what they were. They sleep while we are awake and yet, when we sleep and our guard is down, they come to life. It all makes sense now.

The canine teeth will rip your flesh and drink your blood.

It may already be too late to be a creature of the night. Vampires went out of style some time back. I think it’s all Hunger Game/Maze Runner stuff nowadays. When you think of it, that is easier to relate to America than even vampires. Young people hunting and killing one another.
