上班族必備軟實力

I like to party as much as the next guy, unless the next guy is passed out in his pineapple shrimp. I am glad that there are so many kinds of places to have a good time in Taiwan. Here are some of the places I like to go.

I enjoy eating and drinking at beer houses in Taiwan because they are so informal and fun. They are usually noisy places with wooden floors and thick wooden tables and benches. There is usually a variety of good food: sashimi, pineapple shrimp, and fried meat and vegetables. Those things taste fantastic with a draft beer.

Clubs are for the younger adults and I don’t usually go to these places. They are focused more on dancing than drinking. In fact, if you go out on the dance floor with a drink it will just get spilled and the other customers will be angry with you. “Go out and drink in the gutter, you bald-headed foreign freak!” they would say.

KTVs are great places to have parties. Some rooms are very big with couches and tables and chairs for many people to drink, eat, and sing songs. It can be an enjoyable experience, but you really have to like karaoke or else you may just end up with a terrible headache.

Wherever you go in Taiwan, you can have some fun with (moderate) drinking and partying. Please remember to stay safe, don’t drink and drive, and don’t drink too much. Better yet, just drink hot tea. Thanks for reading and stay tuned for my next article.
